Thats a bridgeport head on a brown and sharpe horizontal mill. From the looks of it, i would not touch it with a 10' pole. Unless you plan on tearing it apart and servicing the entire machine. A Brown and Sharpe model 2B mill seems to be a scarce item. The serial number on this machine is 2009 and I haven't as yet found a 2B serial number registry. There is some dirty paper on the VM site covering 2B mills but the pictures don't show much resemblance to mine, I think it is much newer, my guess is 1940's but just a guess. .
